Was your compressor 'sized' correctly? Is it the optimal running pressure for your requirements? Is it regularly maintained? Have you minimised system leakage?... If you answered yes to all these questions - well done... you've made a start in the right direction... Revisit the first question... If your production is at peak demand and the compressor is 'on load' and maintaining system pressure then it's almost perfect. If the compressor is 'off load' often without stopping then there may be control or size issues.
